With Achieve's Card Control app, you have real-time control to prevent fraud and control spending on your Achieve Debit Card and/or Credit Card through your smartphone or tablet. By using Card Control, you'll add another layer of security to your cards by specifying when, where and how your cards can be used, and receiving real-time notifications for transactions.
Within the app, you can turn your card "off", so any attempted transactions or withdrawals will be declined until the card is turned back "on". You can use this feature if your card is lost/stolen or you suspect fruadulent transactions. You can also use this feature if you want to disable any card spend until you turn it "on".
You can restrict and set transaction limits by merchant type (such as gas, grocery, restaurant), by transaction amount (declining transactions over your set threshold) or by location range (using your phone's GPS).
You can set up alerts to recieve a text message or push notification, in real-time, whenever a transaction is attempted. If you suspect fraudulent activity, simply turn your card "off" and contact the credit union.
